Traditional processing according to the recipe of over 130 years
1. Since 1886 we have been choosing the best durum wheat grown in Italy and in the rest of the world, ground in our mill in Fara S. Martino (CH) Italy, to guarantee a wholemeal pasta with unique qualities and perfect cooking resistance.
2. The slow drying at low temperature typical of the "De Cecco Method" means that when tasted the pasta shows a "high intensity of aromas and a strong flavor with no bitter taste" as the instrumental sensorial investigations have shown.
3. De Cecco Integral Pasta contains "integrally" the parts of the wheat grain including the precious wheat germ.
4. De Cecco Wholemeal Pasta is naturally rich in Fiber and Phosphorus and naturally a source of Proteins, Iron, Thiamin (Vit. B1), Magnesium and Zinc. Phosphorus, Iron, Thiamin (Vit. B1) and Magnesium contribute to the "Normal Energy Metabolism". A varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle are essential for good health.
